{"id":911,"date":"2021-04-03T09:21:21","date_gmt":"2021-04-03T09:21:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rvkassociates.com\/blog\/?p=911"},"modified":"2021-04-03T09:21:25","modified_gmt":"2021-04-03T09:21:25","slug":"faceless-appeal-amendment-scheme-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rvks.in\/blogs\/faceless-appeal-amendment-scheme-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Faceless Appeal (Amendment) Scheme, 2021."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>S.O. 1438(E).<\/strong>\u2014In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6B) of section 250 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Faceless Appeal Scheme, 2020, namely: \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"is-style-none wp-block-list\"><li><strong>1.<\/strong> <strong>Short title and commencement<\/strong>.\u2013\u2013 (1) The Scheme may be called the Faceless Appeal (Amendment) Scheme, 2021.<\/li><li>(2) It shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 2021.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"is-style-none wp-block-list\"><li><strong>2.<\/strong>  In the Faceless Appeal Scheme, 2020, \u2014<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>(i)  in paragraph (2), in sub-paragraph (1), for clause (xviii), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8216;(xviii) \u201cNational Faceless Assessment Centre\u201d shall mean the National e-Assessment Centre set up under the scheme notified under sub-section (3A) of section 143 of the Act or the National Faceless Assessment Centre referred to in section 144B of the Act, as the case may be;\u2019;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(ii) for the expression \u201cNational e-Assessment Centre\u201d, wherever it occurs, the expression \u201cNational Faceless Assessment Centre\u201d shall be substituted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">SHEFALI SINGH, Under Secy., Tax Policy and Legislation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>  The principal Scheme was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) vide notification number S.O. 3296 (E), dated the 25th September, 2020, which has not been amended so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For full detail click below :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/s\/7jg5m2m3kgebefv\/notification_26_2021%2Cincometax.pdf?dl=0\">https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/s\/7jg5m2m3kgebefv\/notification_26_2021%2Cincometax.pdf?dl=0<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>S.O. 1438(E).\u2014In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6B) of section 250 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Faceless Appeal Scheme, 2020, namely: \u2014 1.
